There's More To It than the Sport

Ever since the completion of the Pavillion in De La Salle Santiago Zobel School, it has been one of most looked forward places to go to in the school. It is the centre of all sports and majority of sports trainings are held in this place or has a part of this place in it. Do not be blinded that the Pavillion is just for sports, it is more of the sport itself. The sweat, tear, and heartbeat every athlete shed in this place just show how much passion and love them have for their sport. For others, the Pavillion is also more like a meet up place for a boot camp since this is where their practices are held. To some it may seem that way, but these practices serve as a discipline as well. To practice the art of the chosen sport, an athlete must attend every training whole – heartedly and participate with their hundred percent. 

The Pavillion is a beautiful place to hang around for it is cleaned everyday other than its very present being of it as the centre of all sports.  It is kept clean because of the students who follow the rule of no foods and drinks allowed inside the place. This says a lot about the students of the school, one of them is that these students know how to follow simple rules and that it shows results. 

Different Facilities in DLSZ

There are different facilities in DLSZ. Old or new they help transform students into La Sallian christian achievers of Christ.

Saint La Salle Building:

The Saint La Salle Building is located beside the Mutien Marie Building. The building is said to be  one of the oldest building in DLSZ. The building is home to different offices and departments that can be found in the school, the building is also houses the grade school classrooms, grade 4, 6 and 7. It also houses high school classrooms, 8, 9 2^nd, 3^rd and 4^th year high school. Debbie Decena Auditorium, Main and dental clinic, St La Salle courtyard, Science laboratories, Guidance counsellor’s office, prefect office and DLSZ faculty.  

Pavilion:

 St Flavious hall:

St Flavious hall houses the canteen; the canteen offers wide variety of food stands like waffle time, big chill, Angel’s pizza, Country style and many more. The canteen also has its own catering service.  The canteen’s catering service is “Zaide” which offers different healthy and tasty everyday local and international meals. The canteen also houses the canteen’s office and teachers lounge. The nearest gate to the canteen is gate 2.

 Br. Ceci Hojilla FSC Center for Lasallian Formation (CLF)

The CLF is located behind and beside the Saint La Salle Building. It is where the school chapel is located and where Sunday masses are held. The CLF also houses different offices like Campus Ministry Office, Social Action office and the Family life wellness institute office. The main conference room can also be found in the CLF.  Activities are also held in the building like retreats and recollection since the building has Parmenie retreat facilities and dormitories.
